PeeNut and Shep

My name is PeeNut, and this is my very own Web Page!

I live with Sandi and Charlie at 39 Edinburgh Lane in Pinewild. I like it here!!  It’s a lot better than all the other places I’ve lived. Charlie picked me up at the Fayetteville Animal Control place in July, 2020.

I’ve lived at the “joint” at least twice. I didn’t like it there!! Hard concrete floors, cages, and an infinite number of other obnoxious dogs and cats making noise 24 hours / day.

Living with Sandi and Charlie is infinitely better. I have 3 beds, lots of cozy furniture to jump on, and a nice park where I meet lots of other 2 and 4 legged people. I don’t really like most of the 4 legged types, but Oliver and Murphy are both A-OK.  Lizzie, Bodie, Tuffy and Cooper – not so much!

I’m somewhere between 3 and 7 years old. Besides my two stints at the “joint”, I’ve lived with at least 2 other families. I don’t remember much about them – I’ve tried to block them out in my head.

I’ve got several scars from at least 2 operations, but I’ve blocked out those too. Also, I’m pretty sure I had some kids – probably as a result of living on the streets of Fayetteville for awhile. I got real sick in November. I think I ate a poison spider or mushroom, or had a bad batch of Nutro dog food. I had Xrays, a Sonogram, exploratory surgery, and was on an IV for 3 days. But after 3 weeks or so, I began to feel much better. Then, I did something to my back legs or hips. I don’t remember how I injured them, but Damn – It realy hurt!

I love walks and rides!   I have my own Golf Cart and it even has my name on it. I never met Beanie (she is in doggie heaven) but her name is also on my cart. I pull Charlie on our walk around the 2 mile trip around Lake Pinewild every morning. I also love to eat. Charlie broke me out of ther “joint” so I stuck to him like glue for a long time. I wasn’t so sure about Sandi until I realized she was the one who makes me food, so now I like her a lot!
